GEPCO Business Tariff Categories Explained
Unlike residential connections, commercial shops, offices, factories, and mills operate under specialized NEPRA tariff schedules that include Maximum Demand Indicator (MDI) fixed charges and Time-of-Use (TOU) peak vs off-peak rates.
1. Commercial Tariff (Category A-1 & A-2)
- Category A-1 (General Commercial <= 5 kW): Applies to small retail shops, offices, and boutiques. Charged at a single-rate per unit.
