Quick answer

To check your GEPCO online bill: go to GEPCO's official website, enter your 14-digit reference number in the bill enquiry section, and your current bill will display with the option to view, download as PDF, or print. No login or account is needed, and the service is free.

Checking your bill

How to check your GEPCO online bill, step by step

A GEPCO online bill check takes under a minute once you have your reference number. This is also how you get a GEPCO duplicate bill if you've lost the paper copy — same process, same reference number. We don't run our own bill-lookup widget on this page — your data should only ever pass through GEPCO's own systems, not a third party.

01

Find your reference number

The 14-digit number printed on any previous paper bill, usually labelled "Ref No." or "Consumer No." No previous bill? Your local GEPCO sub-division office can issue it against your CNIC.

02

Go to GEPCO's official site

Type gepco.com.pk into your browser directly, rather than clicking a link from search or social media, to avoid look-alike domains.

03

Enter your reference number

Find the bill enquiry section and submit your number. Only enter it on a domain ending in gepco.com.pk.

04

View, save, or print

Your current GEPCO online bill should display with an option to save as PDF or print. If nothing appears, see common issues.

Why there's no embedded lookup tool here: passing your reference number through anything other than GEPCO's own domain isn't something we're willing to ask consumers to do. It isn't necessary for a guide like this to be useful.
Reading your bill

What's on your GEPCO online bill

Once your bill is on screen, here's what each part of it actually means.

Units consumed
Current reading minus previous reading, in kWh. This is what your tariff slab is applied to.
FPA — Fuel Price Adjustment
A variable monthly charge reflecting actual fuel generation costs against the estimate.
Due date vs. surcharge
Pay by the first date to avoid the higher "payable after due date" figure — this is fixed once the bill is generated.
Sanctioned load
The maximum load your connection is approved for; running near or above it often triggers load-enhancement requests.

Approximate domestic tariff slabs

Rates are set and revised by NEPRA — this shows how the slab structure works, not current rates.

Units (kWh)Slab
1 – 100Protected / subsidised rate
101 – 200Incremental rate
201 – 300Higher incremental rate
301 – 700Peak rate
701+Maximum rate

1LINK ATMs

Insert your card, select Bill Payment → Electricity → GEPCO, and enter your reference number.

Bank branches & GEPCO offices

Pay in person with your reference number or printed bill at any designated collection bank or GEPCO customer service center.

Troubleshooting

Common GEPCO online bill issues

No bill shows up

Usually the current cycle's bill isn't generated yet, or the reference number was mistyped. Wait 24–48 hours into the new cycle, then retry. Still nothing → visit your sub-division office.

Bill higher than usual

Check whether consumption pushed you into a higher slab, whether FPA applied, or whether an earlier estimated reading was corrected.

Surcharge despite paying on time

Keep every payment receipt. Bank/wallet transaction records are accepted as proof at the customer service office.

Wrong name or address

Visit your sub-division office with CNIC and address proof. Corrections typically take one to two billing cycles.

FAQ

GEPCO online bill — frequently asked questions

Is checking a GEPCO online bill free?

Yes. Viewing your bill on GEPCO's official site costs nothing and only needs your reference number. Be wary of any site asking for payment just to view a bill.

Do I need to log in to check my GEPCO online bill?

No account or login is required — GEPCO's bill enquiry only needs your 14-digit reference number.

What if my GEPCO online bill doesn't appear?

Most likely the bill hasn't been generated for the current cycle yet, or the reference number was entered incorrectly. Wait 24–48 hours and try again, or contact your sub-division office.

Can I pay my GEPCO bill online after the due date?

Yes, but the amount will include the surcharge already printed on the bill as the payable-after-due-date figure.

Is there an official GEPCO mobile app?

As of 2026, GEPCO does not publish a widely-used standalone mobile app. Its website works fine on mobile browsers.
